Phlebotomy Solutions are pleased to be able to offer a comprehensive training course  which has been approved by The National Association of Phlebotomists   Our training is open to all members of the healthcare team, from those starting out in healthcare to Healthcare Professionals wishing to update and improve their skill levels and understanding of venepuncture.   The Full Training Course consists of a   One day Theory Workshop to provide underpinning knowledge for venepuncture and related issues. It is recommended that the theory session is completed before any clinical practice is attempted.   One to One Practical Sessions help you to put the theory into practice. These take place within your workplace environment and enable us to guide you through you first steps in phlebotomy, ensuring you gain both practical skills and confidence. You will then work under the guidance of a workplace mentor until you have completed the training manual and are ready to undertake the final assessment Final Assessment after fully completing the training manual we will return to your workplace to observe and assess your phlebotomy skills. On successfully demonstrating the required skills with a minimum of 10 patients, you will be awarded your certificate. We can also offer a Tailor Made Training service. This is ideal for those wishing to update existing skills without needing to undergo the full course. We will design a study day or practical session that suits your requirements.
